Our paths crossed over 20 years ago at IDS Scheer AG. Our passion for first-class, high-quality designs and solutions has shaped us as a team over the years. In addition to project work, there are many other aspects that interest and inspire us: be it good music, exploring the fascinating world of butterflies, growing and processing hazelnuts, or hiking in the Alps or bike tours to the sea...
My first direct contact with the metal industry occurred over 20 years ago at IDS Scheer AG. My journey into this fascinating industry began in the Business Unit for Paper, Textile, Metal.
Since then, I have had the valuable opportunity to conduct various projects across different continents and with diverse work cultures. During this time, I have been able to contribute my experiences and expertise to develop state-of-the-art solutions together with clients. In various roles, I have been significantly involved in the successful planning, management, and implementation of global transformation projects – and continue to be so.
My expertise focuses primarily on the detailed development and modeling of end-to-end supply chain processes. I place particular emphasis on integrating critical processes in customer service, planning, production, and logistics. Additionally, my expertise includes designing and specifying comprehensive system integration that spans from the ERP level (Level 4) to MES production control (Level 3) and shop-floor control level (Level 2).
My passion lies in the integration of systems, processes, organizations, and, most importantly, people, as this is the key to success.
My deep passion for IT and process management is rooted in my academic background. During my studies, I was already fascinated by the immense potential of structured process descriptions. At IDS Scheer, I early on specialized in the industries of paper, textile, and metal. The following years offered exciting projects both domestically and internationally.
I have always dedicated myself with great enthusiasm to developing and implementing solutions in the areas of SAP, planning systems, and MES. Cross-functional and cross-system integration has since been at the core of my expertise. In transformation projects, my focus is not only on the continuous improvement of solutions but also on the development of organizational structures.
My specific expertise centers on the integration of processes, starting with order capture and specification, through technical feasibility analysis to technical elaboration. Based on this, I map and integrate the processes of planning and production execution. Integrating the value stream for company control has always played an important role in developing comprehensive concepts.
A comprehensive view of processes, organization, and systems is crucial, and especially the inclusion and appreciation of all project participants is key to the success of a project.
