We believe that IT projects in the capital and energy-intensive metal industry should not replace systems in waves every 20 years. Instead, a continuous improvement process should be pursued – process support should improve, and IT costs should predominantly go towards improvements rather than mere system replacements, which are often forced by the impending retirement of the relevant experts. Therefore, we see the processes of a company, its organization, and IT solutions as an organism that needs to be trained.

Capturing and understanding
Our holistic perspective on the requirements of the value chain in the metal industry and their critical support through IT-supported processes is integrated and well-founded. Planning
No requirement is implemented without prior assessment. First, an evaluation is conducted to categorize and prioritize within the roadmap. Based on this assessment, the corresponding activities or projects are planned and incorporated into the continuously updated roadmap. This roadmap serves as the foundation for all participants to understand the overall context.
Adapt and transform
We not only document and model your processes but also understand them in depth. We can bridge the gaps between various organizational units, fostering a shared process understanding within the company. Using our process-oriented engineering approach, MS4Process, we collaboratively develop new To-Be processes, including the critical end-to-end processes. We believe that a solid shared process understanding is crucial for the success of any IT project – not just in the metal industry.
Implement and continuously improve
After the process design is completed, the implementation phase begins. Industry-specific best practice approaches are also incorporated. With our developed MS4Process prototypes, planned solutions can be demonstrated and implemented more efficiently and swiftly.
